Adventures along the 'Trace'

As some of you already know, I attended the Mid-South Star Party located in central Mississippi just off the scenic Natchez Trace. The 'trace' is beautiful parkway that follows the old Indian and trapper routes for over 400 miles. In the sections I traveled, it followed heavily wooded uplands and bottom land swamps. A tough ride aheadLooks like the next two days I will be riding an emotional roller coaster. I'm leaving work early to go on a week long vacation. Three day weekends are always good - but having one that most of the populace *doesn't* have is even better. Tomorrow is Veteran's Day and by the doctor's good fortune happens to fall on a Friday this year.
